The centre of Albuferia is about 4 miles away and can be reached by car in 10 minutes. The 138 stylish apartments are set in gardens centered round the pool and terrace. Albufeira is a large resort, ideal for holidays on the Algarve and a lively place with an old fashioned atmosphere. The aparthotel's health club which includes an indoor pool, jacuzzi, fitness studio and gym is open Monday to Friday 10am to 10pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sundays and Bank Holidays it is closed.

Location and Resort

The Balaia Atlantico Aparthotel is close to a range of local beaches with the closest being Olhos D`Agua, 1.5 miles away or 5 minutes by car. The hotel operates an air-conditioned shuttle bus service through to 9 pm, seven days a week, all year round. In the evenings the shuttle bus will make two stops on its route into Albufeira, the first at the Oura Crossroads (The Strip) and the second at Albufeira Old Town.

Swimming Pools

The aparthotel has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor pool and a children`s pool.

Eating and Drinking

The complex has a restaurant, pool bar and lobby bar. The hotel has an All Inclusive option which includes breakfast from 7.30am to 10am, lunch from 12.30pm to 3pm and dinner between 7pm and 10pm, all buffet style, served in the Panoramic restaurant. During meals house wine (red and white), local beer, soft drinks, water, tea and coffee are offered. Snacks such as sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta, chips, scooped ice cream and fruit, etc are available at the poolside bar from 11am to 12.30pm and again from 3pm to 6pm or at the lobby bar if weather not great. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like whisky, gin, rum, vodka, tequila, brandy, liquors, soft drinks, juices, mineral water, red and white house wine, sangria, ruby and tawny port wine, draught beer, coffee, tea, milk and hot chocolate are served between 11am and 11pm.
