The IFA Villas Hotels are in Bavaro Beach, a 2 mile stretch of fine white sand and 2 miles from the centre of Bavaro. The coral reef protects the beach and almost forms a natural swimming pool. The beach is thought of as one of the top ten in the world and is edged with palms, has clear water and fine sand. The hotels 652 rooms have ocean, garden or pool views. There are two other swimming pools available to use.

This resort is divided into 3 properties and is made up of several villas and buildings designed in typical colonial style. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and guests can use the facilities at the other two properties in the complex.
