The town has plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and banks, many within easy reach. The Bahia Calma Bungalows share their complex with 28 apartments known as Casa Catalina. Just 200 metres from the complex guests will find shops, nightlife, supermarkets, restaurants and a bus stop. The main beach, Playa de Sotavento, is long and sandy, safe for children and popular with wind surfers, but all water sports are catered for.
