Location and Resort

The Suite Hotel Eden Mar is located in Funchal, facing the Atlantic Ocean, with superb sea views. It is built in a U-shape so all the rooms have at least a side sea view. It is just 150 metres from the Lido and the beach, however, this is fairly steep, so we do not recommend this for guests with mobility difficulties.

Swimming Pools

2 Indoor heated swimming pools, 1 outdoor heatable swimming pool, and a children`s pool area as part of the main pool. 1 of the indoor pools has an opening roof offering maximum flexibility.

Eating and Drinking

There are six bars, two poolside serve drinks and light meals throughout the day, the Alfama restaurant provides breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as Portuguese specialities. There is a Mediterranean restaurant and the Italian restaurant (Il Basilico) is well known in the local area for its authentic cuisine. Breakfast is served buffet style.
