The Hotel Dorisol Mimosa is in a peaceful elevated position with fabulous views over the Bay of Funchal. It has a wide range of guest facilities available, and is a short stroll of about 500 meters to the sea. It is a part of Dorisol complex together with Dorisol Buganvilia and Dorisol Estrelicia and guests can use the facilities of the sister properties. A new building is being constructed in front of the Dorisol Mimosa Hotel. Work is currently carried out Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Panels will be erected to screen the works and the leisure facilities are located the opposite side to the works. The main construction work will be undertaken between 1st July and 30th September.

There are two outside swimming pools, a children`s paddling pool, and an indoor pool in the complex.

Eating and Drinking

The Europa Restaurant provides breakfast and evening meals. There is a Terrace Bar next to the swimming pool, as well as the Piano Bar which comes alive each night with live entertainment.
