Right Choice
This hotel in Madeira will appeal to anyone looking for a good quality hotel offering plenty to do yet in a tranquil location. However access to the pool area is steep so we do not recommend this for those with mobility difficulties.
Location and Resort
The Hotel Orca Praia is positioned such that it benefits from some of the best views to be had on the island, yet close enough to the tourist area for a stroll in the evening , where you will find the variety of shops, bars and restaurants. A courtesy bus takes guests to Funchal centre 8 times a day.
Swimming Pools
The boot-shaped outdoor swimming pool has a children`s section and has lovely views out over the ocean. There is a large sun terrace beside it with gardens and a pool bar for drinks and snacks.
Eating and Drinking
There is a restaurant which offers both buffet style and a la carte evening meals. The views from the tables are spectacular. The main bar also has great views to enjoy while listening to the entertainment. There is also a pool bar. NEW YEARS EVE GALA MEALS INCLUDED
