La Pineda has one of the regions largest waterparks and for younger children there is an amusement park near the port. The main promenade in Salou is approximately 4 miles away and is known for its lively and entertaining atmosphere whilst La Pineda is a little quieter. There are a good number of bars and clubs and a safe and sandy beach with a good selection of watersports.
