Overview
This 7 night cruise departs every Monday from Luxor to Aswan and back. The cruise travels along one of the world`s most famous waterways, The Nile, and takes in ancient sites from the Pharaohs, gods and temples alongside Egypt`s modern achievements including the mighty Aswan High Dam. The boat has 5 decks with 60 standard and superior cabins, 1 deluxe cabin and 2 suites. The entire ship is built according to the rules and regulations of the Lloyd`s register of London including all safety aspects ; she is 66.5 metres in length, 11.5 metres in breadth and has a draft of 1.2 metres.

The boats sun deck is the main place from which to enjoy the beautiful sights as you sail along the banks of the Nile. Divided on two levels, the upper sun deck is the ideal place to catch some sun with lounge chairs under the open sky whilst the lower sun deck provides shaded seating surrounding the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Cool drinks and refreshments are offered all day and at tea time the Egyptian sunsets illuminate spectacular views.

Maxi Itinerary
Day 1 - Luxor
Arrive at Luxor airport.
Meet and greet by a local representative and transfer to the MS Sherry Boat
Check in to your cabin before dinner and over night on board.
Day 2 - Luxor / Esna
Early morning excursion of the Necropolis of Thebes, better known as the West Bank of Luxor. Here you can visit the Valley of the Kings and the tombs of the new kingdom pharaohs; including Tutankhamen (separate ticket required) and Ramses the Great.
After this onto the Temple of Deir El Bahari, the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut with its 3 terraces before visiting the temple of Ramses III with a photo stop at the imposing Colossi of Memnon.
Following this we set sail for Esna and take lunch on board.
Afternoon is free for leisure.
Dinner and overnight on board. (Full Board).
Day 3 - Esna / Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan
Morning sightseeing of Edfu, and the extraordinary Temple of Horus; the mythical son of Isis and Osiris. Here, legend says, Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by defeating his father`s brother Seth in combat.
Then sail on to Kom Ombo enjoying lunch on board and then an afternoon free for leisure as we sail to Aswan.
Dinner and overnight on board. (Full Board).
Day 4 - Aswan
Visit the Temple of Philae dedicated to the Egyptian god Isis. The temple was moved 550 metres from its original location on Philae Island in 1971, when the high dam was completed, using money from UNESCO, to its new home on Agilika Island.
Following lunch the afternoon is free for leisure.
Dinner and overnight on board. (Full Board).
Day 5 - Aswan
An early departure if the optional excursion to Abu Simbel by air has been chosen.
Lunch on board and then an afternoon felucca cruise along the Nile enjoying the views of the Aga Khan mausoleum, Elephantine and Kitcheners Islands.

Day 6 - Aswan / Kom Ombo / Edfu
Early morning sailing to Kom Ombo, where we visit the temple dedicated to the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sobek was the crocodile god of Nile fertility.
After this we continue sailing north enjoying the Nile views.
Lunch, dinner and overnight on board. (Full Board)
Day 7 - Esna / Luxor
Today we continue sailing north, crossing the lock at Esna.
Lunch on board and then afternoon free for leisure as we sail to Luxor.
In the evening a possible optional excursion to the sound and light show at Karnak.

Day 8 - Luxor
Today we take an early morning tour to the East Bank temples of Karnak and Luxor. Karnak is the biggest temple complex in the world with the famous 138 gigantic columns. Luxor faces the Nile and was originally joined to Karnak by an avenue of Sphinxes over 1.5 miles long.
Lunch on board then transfer to the airport.
