The Hotel Papagayo Arena is on the Colorades beach between the fishing village of Playa Blanca and the Papagayo beaches. The hotel has superb sunset views and the small sandy coves and golden beaches of Papagayo are just 600 metres away. The hotel is 2 miles from the resort centre, nightlife is low key although there are a number of restaurants on the promenade. Additionally there is a free shuttle service 4 times a day to the Playa Dorada Beach.

Location and Resort

The Hotel Papagayo overlooks the Atlantic and the nearby islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos and offers a high standard of service, good facilities and activities for all age groups. There are 488 comfortable, nicely decorated rooms, some of which are suites, and the majority of rooms have a sea view.

Swimming Pools

There are 5 freshwater swimming pools, 3 for adults, and 2 for children. One adult and one child pool is heated in winter. Surrounding the pool area, the terraces offer room to sit and relax with loungers, parasols and free pool towels.

Eating and Drinking

There is an International buffet restaurant, a pizzeria, a snack grill, Oriental restaurant, and a French a la carte restaurant with a supplement. There are also 5 bars. The hotels All Inclusive programme includes breakfast from 8am and 10.30am, lunch from 1pm to 3.15pm and dinner from 7pm to 9.45pm, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Also at the disposal of AI guests is Pizzeria Veneto for lunch and dinner as well as the Pon Hai Tau oriental restaurant for dinner (upon reservation). Hot and cold snacks along with ice cream, water, house wine, beer and soft drinks are available 24hrs at selected hotel bars (from 11pm to 8am only at the snack grill). Afternoon tea time is between 4pm and 6pm. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails are served at the bars and restaurants within the hotel from 10am and 11pm.
