Overview
The hotel is on the islands northern coast, in the heart of the Playa Dorada complex, spread over 16 tropical acres and bordering the championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones. The property is 700 meters from Playa Doradas beaches and 5 miles from Puerto Plata. The hotel was renovated in December 2007. The hotel operates an All Inclusive programme which includes a childrens club with varied and entertaining activities during the day (for children from 4-12 years old), mini-disco, activity program at the beach and swimming pool, non motorized water sports, scuba diving clinic in the swimming pool, transportation to the beach from 8.30am to 5pm, chaise lounges and umbrellas in the beach area and swimming pool, towel service at the swimming pool, gym and Jacuzzi, one daily tour of bikes, 30 Minutes of horseback riding per person per week, entertainment shows every night, tennis courts, handball court , basketball area, beach volleyball area. Location and Resort
The resort consists of 336 rooms in 45 two-story, pastel coloured villas. There is a casino and a golf course nearby. Days can be spent relaxing under parasols ready for the nightlife by the beach or cocktails at one of the many bars around the resort. The windsurfing on this area of coastline is the best on the island and the golf course that surrounds the property is regarded as one of the top 100 courses outside of the USA.
