There is an executive golf course, a private riding school and Lifestyle Holidays own Polo Club approximately 1 mile from the resort. Puerto Plata is situated on the Atlantic North coast of the island at the foot of the majestic Mount Isabel de Torres. Examples of the brightly painted Caribbean-style houses can be found in the bustling centre and along the seafront boulevard and it is popular for those seeking history, shopping, local excursions and, of course, the opportunity to take a cable car ride to the summit of Mount Isabel de Torres to see the colossal statue of Christ.

Eating and Drinking
The hotel operates an All Inclusive programme which includes American breakfast from 7am to 10.30am, continental breakfast from 10.30am to 11am, lunch between 12.30pm and 2.30pm and dinner from 6.30pm to 10pm, all buffet style, served in the Garden or Tropical main restaurants. During meals wine is offered. Also at the disposal of the AI guests is the Bellini - pizza and pasta, and the El Zorro Tex-Mex upon reservation, for A la Carte dining between 7pm and 10pm (smart/casual) as well as the Asian fusion Indochine and the Blue Lagoon Caribbean seafood located at the sister hotel Lifestyle Tropical. Snacks such as salads, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, etc are available from midday and 3pm at the Bellini. At the Beach Club guests can enjoy a light lunch from midday to 4pm, midnight snacks from 11.30pm and 6.30am and tea time between 4pm and 5.30pm. All Inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like, beer, spirits, wine, cocktails, liqueurs, fruit juices, tropical drinks, soft drinks, etc are served at the beach bar 24 hours a day, and at the Banana pool bar, Bellini bar and garden bar between 10am and 11pm.
