The beach has a varied selection of watersports available both motorised and non-motorised. The hotel offers a mix of entertainment and dining options and downtown Bavaro is 6 miles away.

The hotel has 5 restaurants and a beach club serving light snacks. There is also 5 bars, a poolside pizza snack bar and a midnight snack bar for late night snacks. The hotel operates an All Inclusive programme which includes breakfast between 7am and 10.30am, continental breakfast between 10.30am and 11am, lunch from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and dinner from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, all buffet style, served in the Topaz main restaurant. During lunch and dinner, house wine is offered. Also at the disposal of the AI guests upon reservation and only three times weekly per room, are the four A la Carte restaurants - Italian at Caruso, Caribbean at Papaya's, seafood at La Yola and steakhouse grill at Las Brasas. Snacks such as hot dogs, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, French fries and a lot more are available at the Coco Loco beach club from midday to 4pm and the pool pizza shop from midday to 5pm. Midnight snacks can be found between 11.30pm and 2am.
