Nabq is approximately 20 minutes from the old city centre. The nearby national park of Nabq has abundant wildlife, including gazelles, hyrax, Nubian ibexes and smaller mammals. The Red Sea is clear and warm throughout the year and has developed as a scuba and snorkeling paradise, with its coral and sea life.

The hotel also has a cafe and an Oriental coffee shop and finally Route 66 offers a range of beverages and Tex Mex food and snacks.
