The Hotetur Dorado Hotel is 150 metres from Playa Dorada beach, close to both Sosua and Cabarete. Sosua is best known for its beach lined with bars and restaurants and Cabarete also has good restaurants and a lively nightlife. The windsufing on this area of coastline is the best on the island.

The hotel has 206 rooms split between 9 smaller buildings surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, on the beach in the Playa Dorada complex and offers guests there own private secure beach area. There are jet skis available locally and an 18-hole golf course. The mall is a 5 minute walk away.

The hotel has a swimming pool and a children`s pool.
Eating and Drinking
The hotel has a buffet style main restaurant and an a la carte restaurant, a snack bar and a pool bar. The hotels All Inclusive programme includes breakfast from 7am to 10am, lunch between midday and 2.30pm and dinner from 7pm to 9.30pm, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Dinner is also offered at the A la Carte restaurant Magua, once per week of stay (reservation required). Delicious snacks such as pizzas, hamburgers, hot dogs, ships, etc are available between 10am and 6pm at the snack bar. A drink and snack station is open from midnight until 7am everyday. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like spirits, beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee and mineral water are served 24 hours at the pool bar, the main bar and at the snack bar (according to each outlets opening hours).
