The Gran Bahia Principe Hotel is a 700 room property that combines 5 star accommodation with a shopping and entertainment plaza called Pueblo Principe. The resort is surrounded by beautiful beaches and tropical jungle. All of the hotel’s rooms are Junior Suites which are large and comfortable and include two double beds or one kingsize bed. They have pool, garden or ocean views and the hotel has direct access to a long stretch of white sandy beach, partially protected by natural reefs. Location and Resort
Runaway Bay is on a quiet stretch of the Jamaican coast providing a relaxing place to unwind. There are a number of nice sandy beaches in the area and the shopping area of Ocho Rios is a 25 minute drive. Jamaica has plenty of other attractions to discover including the capital, Kingston, the Dunn’s River Waterfalls, Montego Bay and Negril.
Swimming Pools
The hotel has 3 swimming pools which are connected to each other and surround the main building. The pools have sections for children and there is plenty of terrace and garden space with loungers and parasols for relaxation.
Eating and Drinking
The hotel has an international buffet style main restaurant which enjoys sea views, a gourmet a la carte speciality restaurant, an a la carte seafood restaurant, a Japanese a la carte restaurant and a meat grill a la carte restaurant. All of the restaurants are air conditioned. There are also plenty of places to enjoy a drink including a lobby bar, animation bar, beach snack bar, beach bar and 2 wet bars. The hotel operates an All Inclusive programme which includes all meals, snacks, local drinks and cocktails in all the restaurants and bars within the hotel complex 24 hours a day and 3 a la carte dinners per week of stay and upon prior reservation, to choose from among the speciality restaurants.
