Location and Resort
The city centre of Umag is just over one mile from the Sol Polynesia. Formerly known as Umacus the Romans erected a fort between the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD as they found the surrounding lands ideal for growing grapes. Their wisdom was very significant as, even today, the Croatia`s best wines are grown here. The town`s history is amazing but the many other attractions and excursions around Umag should not be missed.
Swimming Pools
The property has a superb outdoor pool and separate pool for children. Sun beds are free.
Eating and Drinking
Eateries are plentiful with a restaurant with buffet and a la carte service, a pizzeria, and snack bar serving fast food, a beach bar and a cafeteria. There is a buffet service for breakfast and dinner available in the smaller apartments. A supermarket and shops are available for those wishing to cook, as well as various kiosks throughout the complex.
