The hotel is built in the grounds where three tombs with well preserved frescoes from the Hellenistic period were found, and is well placed for sightseeing being surrounded by numerous archaeological sites. The interior of the hotel is museum like with painted murals on the walls.

The Roman Hotel has a fresh water swimming pool which is heated in winter, and a children`s pool. The pool area is surrounded with loungers and parasols (no charge). There is also an aromatherapy bath, steam bath, reflex therapy and sauna.
