The Silver Beach Hotel is on the main road, 400 metres west of the harbour and the beach. There is a supermarket opposite and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate area. There is also a bus stop 400 metres away. The beach runs for just under a mile and the resort runs alongside, between the beach and the main road.

This L shaped 3 storey building is surrounded by gardens and was recently renovated to offer modern accommodation with balconies in all rooms. Roda is a modern beach resort found at the western end of an enormous bay and is backed by mountains. It was originally a fishing village and still has some narrow lanes and older buildings.
