This is a very green and beautiful area and a designated nature site. The long sandy beach has gently shelving sand and clear blue sea. Although it is a peaceful location there is a selection of bars, restaurants and shops if you tire of the beach. The pretty, larger town of Zakynthos is about 12 miles away.

Location and Resort
The Louis Royal Palace is surrounded by gardens and is part of the Louis Holiday Complex, which includes 2 other Louis hotels. The hotel is in the picturesque area of Vasilikos, next to the Mavratzis beach, and due to its hillside location it offers views of the sea.

The property has 2 swimming pools, one with waterslides. There is a children`s pool.
Eating and Drinking
The hotel has a buffet style restaurant, an a la carte restaurant and a bbq restaurant. There is also a pool bar and a lobby bar in bad weather. The hotels All Inclusive programme includes breakfast 7am and 10am, lunch from 12.30pm to 3pm and dinner between 6pm and 9.30pm, all buffet style, served in Lydia restaurant. In addition to the main buffet, there are also childrens meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. During meals mineral water, white and red wine, beer, fruit juices, soft drinks, tea and coffee are offered. Snacks such as cold sandwiches and hot snacks (including vegetarian option) are available from 10am to 12.30pm, 3pm to 6.30pm and 9.30pm to midnight at Dionysos pool bar as well as ice cream from 10am and 9pm. Afternoon tea and coffee time with chocolate, cold and hot milk, cakes, biscuits and mini pastries is from 3.30pm to 5pm. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as hot beverages are served at all bars from 10am to midnight. Lunch boxes can be prepared for excursions (upon request the previous day, before 6pm).
