The Horizon Hotel is in the centre of Calangute with good shopping and a wide sandy beach. Goa was once ruled by the Portuguese and still has many influences left today. The hotel is on the strip in Calangute and only a few metres from Calangute beach which is nearly 4 miles long. There are good local watersports and even a chance to go dolphin watching. In the centre of the town is a Tibetan market and it is only 10 miles to the capital of Panajim. The hotel has a total of 50 rooms spread across 5 floors.
