It is a lovely hilly town on the promontory where Lake Como separates into two branches. Bellagio has enchanting narrow cobbled streets winding up to the hills behind the village and mountain bikes can be hired to explore the surrounding area. The properties high ceilings and grand furniture add character to the rooms, most of which have solid parquet flooring.

The Hotel Excelsior Splendid is a charming hotel right on the lake in the heart of Bellagio, close to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and there is a popular lakeside terrace cafe across the road with lovely views of the lake. All the resorts are well connected by boat, local bus and hydrofoil.
Swimming Pools
The outdoor swimming pool is set in mature gardens and is reached up a winding path, giving it a peaceful seclusion.The wrought iron railings add charm. (note: not for those with walking difficulties)
Eating and Drinking
The restaurant has high celings and is stylish. The bar offers a comfortable area to relax in, but for a better view of the lake, the lakeside terrace cafe (across the road), is the place to be.
