Location and Resort
Bellagio is known as the ‘Pearl of the Lake’, and rightly so. This beautiful town enjoys a magnificent setting on the promontory dividing Lake Como from Lake Lecco. The tree-lined promenade dotted with attractive lakefront cafes, allow visitors to sit and admire the superb view. The historical town centre, elegant cafes, restaurants and charming shops attract visitors from all over the world. In the summer months there is a whole range of water sports to choose from, as well as a lake-side Lido, while in the winter there are ski lifts on Monte San Primo. Bellagio is also served by an excellent ferry service and hydrofoil, which gives you easy access to all other parts of the Lake.
