The Adaaran Select Meedhupparu Island Resort is spread out across 43 acres of lush and thick vegetation and is the only resort developed in the Raa Atoll. The Island has an excellent beach surrounding it and a large lagoon area, which is ideal for water sports. It is also a great location to some of the areas excellent unexplored diving areas.

Location and Resort
The hotel has a total of 215 standard rooms. The Raa Atoll is a collection of over 90 islands, out of which only 16 are inhabited. The majority of the inhabited islands are in the eastern side of the atoll. Out of the remaining uninhabited islands, only Meedhupparu is being developed as a tourist resort. Several complex reef formations mark the centre of the atoll and it is also well-known for its boat building tradition.

Eating and Drinking
The hotel has a main restaurant offering buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as fine wines and an assortment of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. There is also a fine dining restaurant offering gourmet European and fusion cuisine and an Ayurveda restaurant. There is a grill bar on the beach near the dive centre and finally a lounge bar with disco nights, 3 times a week. The hotel operates an All Inclusive programme which includes breakfast between 7.30am and 9.30am, lunch between 12.30pm and 2.30pm and dinner from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (wine will be served during lunch and dinner by glass). In addition snacks are available in the main bar between 10.30am and 11.30am, 4pm to 5pm and 11pm to midnight. Meedhupparu also has themed evenings held away from the main restaurant which vary from Lobster Nights through to Seafood evenings. These are not part of the all-inclusive package and are chargeable. All inclusive beverage are available at the following outlets during the times started - Main/Disco Bar - 10am to midnight, Pool Bar - 10am to 6pm, Main Restaurant - during lunch and dinner only, Grill Bar - 10am to 6pm. The following drinks are included in the all inclusive package (please note that brand names may change from time to time according to availability) - Whisky (Grants, Claymore), Gin (Rockland, London), Vodka (Kiprinsky, Petroff), Rum (Rebellion Dark, Rebellion White), Brandy (Raynal, Mon Amour Napoleon), Beer (Zipfer, Amsterdam), Soft Drinks (Coke, Fanta, Sprite, Bitter Lemon, Soda water and Tonic water), Tea and coffee, Mineral water (by the bottle), codials (Mango, Orange, Passion and Pineapple) NB: Mini bar items are not part of the all inclusive package except for water which will be restocked daily for guests convenience. Drinks consumed other than the stipulated hours are not included in the all inclusive package and will be charged at regular prices. Drinks consumed on excursions are not included on the all inclusive package and will be charged at hotel prices. Cocktails, fresh fruit juices, and bottle wine are not included in the all inclusive package and will be charged at normal price.
