The NH Doelen is Amsterdam’s oldest hotel and sits on the banks of the river Amstel from where it enjoys canal views and its own private boat landing. This 17th century hotel, in the heart of Amsterdam’s historical city centre, has had a variety of famous and artistic guests including Queen Victoria, The Beatles and the Empress Sissi who even has a room named after her. Rembrandt painted the world famous 'Night Watch' on the third floor of the hotel.
