This is an ideal spot for golfers with 8 golf courses within a 12 mile radius. Alvor is a typical village with traditional architecture, bars and restaurants. The village faces a large natural lagoon than opens into the sea and there is a choice of a long sandy beach or a number of small coves to relax on.
