AVAILABLE MAY TO SEPTEMBER - The Hvala Hotel is family run and offers a welcoming atmosphere in the centre of Kobarid in the Soca Valley. The property is well known for its restaurant even attracting Italians across the border to eat there. The area is close to the Julian Alps and the Italian border. The Soca River is excellent for fishing but also rafting over its rapids and waterfalls.

Location and Resort
The hotel has 28 rooms spread over 3 floors. Rafting, hydro-speeding, kayaking, canoeing and diving in the river are, besides the fishery and bathing, the most popular sport activities in the Soca valley. Fishing permits can be got from the Hotel itself.

The hotel does not have a pool.
Eating and Drinking
The hotel has a popular restaurant with fine dining including local trout and crayfish specialties. There is also a coffee shop.
