Location and Resort
The midtown area is a great location for a New York city break. Carnegie Hall is just across the street from the Park Central and presents dozens of vocal and symphonic performances each year from some of the world's finest orchestras and solo performers. One block away are the shops of 57th Street which includes Hermes, Daffy's, Bergdorf Goodman and Nike Town whilst Fifth Avenue is two blocks from the hotel and includes Brooks Brothers, Saks, Versace, Prada and many more of the world's most exclusive names in fashion. As the name of the hotel suggests Central Park is also nearby (3 blocks) and offers a true urban oasis, which includes a zoo, running and biking trails, playgrounds, ball fields, and an ice-skating rink during winter months. It is also a great place to enjoy a picnic or one of the famous horse-drawn carriage rides.
