The quiet Murray Hill area is within easy walking distance of such attractions as The Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, the theatre district, and all of the shopping on Fifth Avenue. Previously the area had a quiet and formal feel but for the last decade many professional New Yorkers in there twenties and thirties have moved into the area and have been followed by a lively restaurant and bar scene which is particularly evident along Third Avenue at the weekends.
